👩💻 Digital connectivity has significantly lowered barriers for consumers, for example through e-commerce, allowing easy transactions anywhere, anytime, including across borders. However, this development also increases the risk of unfair business practices for consumers, such as online fraud😈 or misleading information.   📢 To this end, #GIZ recognises the importance of continuous advocacy to increase consumer awareness and understanding of their rights and how to spot these unfair practices, whether in the offline or online marketplace. Through the ASEAN-German Portfolio in #sustainableeconomicdevelopment, the ASEAN-German PROTECT project and Hukumonline.com collaboration encourage university students👩🎓to join the journey to raise awareness about #consumerprotection.   🤳 The Content Creation Competition 2024 on "Consumer Protection in Indonesia" is now open until 9 August 2024!   🙌 Taking inspiration from the ASEAN E-Learning on Consumer Protection (https://lnkd.in/gktSWQxu) and the accessible microsite on consumer protection in Indonesia (https://konsumencerdas.id/), GIZ and Hukumonline invite young content creators in Indonesia to be #ConsumerChampions and unleash their creativity!   👇 For more information, see the poster below.
