My POV: We are in the early innings of a paradigm shift that will cascade across every aspect of our world. I don’t believe that to be one bit hyperbolic, it’s just a matter of when. AI, crypto, quantum computing, energy transition, robotics, XR, on and on… the convergence of this massive R+D pipeline coming into reality is something to behold.
Policymakers and regulators are coming around to this reality, and now their focus and the tactics used to shape and constrain the outcomes of this shift through an aggressive policy agenda are evolving rapidly. Frankly, the scale and speed of the change requires it. This is true at the Federal level (see: TikTok), and also in state capitols across the U.S.
Every company that is innovating should get smart on this evolving landscape, fast. The players, the trends, and the tools needed to win. This is The RXN Group ‘s world.
From: The Information, The Briefing
“The U.S. House of Representatives acted swiftly to try to force a sale of TikTok, surprising the public and the company. And while the fate of that effort is very much up in the air now that it is in the Senate’s hands, it’s another sign that the government isn’t the slowpoke its critics paint it to be.
Tech executives and investors should let that sink in. Yes, regulators can be slow. Yes, they can miss key things about technology. But when they act, they can have a tremendous impact. And they seem to have fresh resolve to use that power.”
