Corporates now have restaurants, meeting rooms, swimming pools, auditoriums, gym, jaccuzzi and everything else to keep their staff inhouse, away from restaurants. Why? Increase of prductivity. Recently I have seen operations of restaurants in corporate offices with ability to serve up to 300 pax at the same time. Try to make a booking at a random restaurant and they will ask you to select the menu, prepay, this and that...process seems to become more difficult rather than easier. Productivity is KEY and employee benefits are key. And no micky mouse benefits..Thoughts ? #work #progress #change

Active Northumberland & The Pursuit of Excellence through Quest In the competitive landscape of community leisure and wellness provision, Active Northumberland has consistently endeavoured to set industry benchmarks, aligning with our strategic objective to be recognised as the foremost community leisure and wellness provider in the UK. A critical component of this journey has been our engagement with the #Quest assessment process. Since inception, Active Northumberland has committed to undertaking the Quest process to help drive continuous improvement in both operational excellence and delivery of outstanding customer service. Its rigorous standards have been the yardstick against which to measure our operational efficacy over the last two decades. Recent assessments have yielded noteworthy results: · Facilities at Ashington, Berwick, and Wentworth Leisure Centres were subjected to the Quest evaluation. Each achieved "Very Good" bandings, with their performance metrics ranking within the top 20 on a national scale. · It was noted that the Senior Management team were excellent custodians of facilities with exemplary ambitious standards of cleaning, housekeeping, and maintenance of the facilities. Moreover, it was recognised that the teams across all the Quest accredited facilities were outcome focused, with customers and communities being integral to the operation of the facilities. As we move into the final quarter of the calendar year, three additional centres are scheduled for Quest evaluation, underscoring our unwavering commitment to continuous improvement. However, beyond these commendations and rankings, our consistent track record stands as a testament to the ingrained ethos of continuous improvement at Active Northumberland. This ethos, combined with our strategic initiatives, positions us favourably within the business community. As we anticipate further evaluations and strategic milestones, I'd like to extend my gratitude to our internal teams and the wider business community for their ongoing support and collaboration. Continuous improvement remains at the forefront of our operational strategy, and we remain committed to driving excellence across all facets of our operations. Can the pay-what-you-can model be implemented within the wellness industry? This topic of discussion was brought up in the latest edition of Spa Business with key insights offered by GOCO Hospitality CEO Ingo Ronald Schweder on the possibility and opportunities of democratizing the wellness model into mainstream target groups, beyond wealthy customers. Even more so post-pandemic, we are seeing more and more people from all walks of life ever so keen on improving their health and wellbeing, not just themselves but of their loved ones. It is important that the wellness industry acknowledges this shift towards the growth of more mid-range wellness offerings and wider accessibility. Caesars Means Wellness and if that is something your looking for, then stop, read and action. How many hotels have paid attention to what the event professional is really looking for today? I am not referring to leisure travel but rather corporate travel for groups. I got a taste of what Wellness means to Caesars at IMEX. Let's face it, we all know them as business, entertaiment and events but this initiative is mindful and shines a ight on their commitment to human sustainability. When I was younger, I thought that Caesars was the most luxurious place to stay. They brought the best of everything to everyone. But now they are an organization focused on their employee's and clients with no end in sight. For this organization, they have put people first and created a culture of dedicated humans who enjoy going to work everyday. For them it's not just about how great their benefits are but rather their thought leadership in hospitality, and how to care for anything that a client could possibibly need. I actually took this shot to demonstrate how the media was treated while at IMEX. Taken at the Valley of Fire, Reina H. organized a day of wellness activities food and comraderie. Try balancing on rock. As you can see Ms. Herschendorfer had more experience with it than most of us. Read my latest article on Caesars means wellness here: https://lnkd.in/eNaAZBy4 Can you believe its November 1st? Time is going way to fast for this human. Have you explored what Caesars is doing these days? I am not kidding when I say it is very impressive. #corporateevents #travelexperience #wellnessmatters #mentalhealthawareness Meeting Professionals International
