The eagle-eyed among you may have noticed that at the end of last year I stepped back from my role as Chief Strategy Officer at xDesign after what has been an absolutely incredible couple of years. Watching the business grow, and continue to grow, from strength to strength has been amazing but what’s been most incredible has been the people. I have always said that a business is built - and made - by the people in it at the time. And I for one cannot wait to see what the team goes on to do next because it’s sure as hell going to be exciting. There are far too many highlights to list here but I do want to say a massive thank you to Euan and every other xDesigner for making my time at xDesign one of those moments in my career that I will look back on with great fondness and a shit ton of appreciation and gratitude*. 💛 Truthfully, if you'd asked me 18 months ago would I be in the position I am today, my answer would have been no. But I'm a strong believer in serendipity and in the idea that everything that happens and comes into our life does so for a reason. So as I step away from xDesign, a wonderful business and a even more wonderful group of people that I genuinely love and feel incredibly sad to leave, I do so with a real sense of excitement and anticipation about what next. So, what is next? Well, after spending a bit of time with the family, I’m (just about) ready to share a couple of exciting bits of news that will hopefully help me to explore a few different things that have been on my mind lately. With just the right level of mischief thrown in along the way.
