Before you reach for that third cup of coffee ☕😬,️ let's talk about how diet can impact #anxiety. The things we eat and drink can play a role in regulating mood and anxiety levels. Nutrients — or the lack thereof — can affect brain chemistry, influencing emotions and stress levels. So while a morning cup of coffee may provide a temporary energy boost, excessive caffeine consumption can trigger or worsen anxiety symptoms. On the flip side, consider adding nutritious foods like eggs, leafy greens or fish to your daily meals to support serotonin production and brain function. 🥬🍣 Check out the full list of the best and worst foods for anxiety here: https://lnkd.in/g4-i7urV

Do you know why walking is one of the most beneficial exercises for your #mentalhealth? Let's dive into the science behind walking. 🤓🚶 When you walk, your body releases endorphins, the "feel-good" hormones that can enhance your mood and reduce stress. Walking can also trigger numerous biochemical processes in your brain, leading to increased production of neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine which are important for mood regulation. The American Psychological Association suggests that 30 minutes a day, five days a week, is a good starting point. Even shorter, more frequent walks, like during the work day, can be beneficial! We're so excited to announce the official launch of Couples Therapy! 🎉 Pew Research Center recently found that about half of married or cohabiting parents (52%) say they feel judged by their spouse or partner for how they parent their children at least some of the time. The New York Times also reported on the unique difficulties of millennial motherhood, citing pressure from social media, rising costs of childcare, and difficulties balancing careers, families, and relationships. “Couples Therapy is a natural extension of our mission. We understand that mental health is not only an individual journey but also one that can significantly impact and be impacted by our closest relationships. By offering Couples Therapy, we aim to support our clients in every aspect of their lives, fostering stronger, healthier outcomes.” - David Mou MD MBA, Cerebral CEO Every single Couples Therapy session is 100% online and offers the flexibility of same-week appointments. Our therapists create a safe, judgment-free space and are trained on the Cerebral Way, a personalized approach centered around each couples' goals so that they can succeed together outside of therapy. We are beyond proud of the incredible teams that were able to bring this launch to life! 👏 Learn more or get started here: https://lnkd.in/g-jSJqAu
