On my way back from our global Boston Consulting Group (BCG) conference set in NY, reflecting on what’s truly new in the world of Consumer & Retail🌍🛒🛍️🧃 If much ☺️❓ Trends will (at a buzzword level) surprise few of you)… 💻(Gen)AI … 🌱Sustainability - very much incl biodiversity 💦 💚Purpose and inclusion … on a backdrop of uncertainty and ambiguity 📈📉⚡️ What is 🆕 is that companies are creating P&L impact (yes - the double digit potential estimates we’ve seen) - across these dimensions - by genuinely transformaing the way they serve their customers Let’s take the example of GenAI where a consumer company is driving top line growth by: ✅Synthesizing customer data into directly actionable insights ✅Accelerating speed to market ✅Giving customers a brand new shopping experience … by following a logical approach: ‘Deploy - Reshape - Invent’ Super fascinating!
