Playing sports is every bit a mental game as it is a physical one. ESPN discussed Jayson Tatum responding to people who talked badly about his game throughout the season. He allowed the hate and negativity from others to get inside his head, like the majority of us do - we're humans not robots. As a psychologist, I wanted to remind athletes at every level, that taking care of your mental game is just as important as working on your physical game.
