We can see the teams where the leaders are performing, leading from the front, and supporting team members. All these lead to a superb performance overall. We are seeing in the ongoing matches individual's accountability for achieving their team's goals. The team members complement each other and fill the gap during the performance. Role ambiguity creates confusion among team members and redundancies within an organization. The last is the discipline of the team members in practicing self-restraint and learning to follow the best course of action. The England team had a horrible season pre 2022 when they lost 10 out of 11 test games only to rebound within a short span & win 9 out of 11, revolutionalizing the game to the awe of super teams & teeming crowds. The major question is how did such a breakthrough occur? New Management + bazball approach (strategy) turned the tables around. Same team, different management & a complete overhaul to conventional wisdom when it comes to strategy. Leadership is everything. A bold leader produces bold employees. A courageous leader spurs the army to action & dare to reach the apogee of success. Strategy is pivotal to success. They simply accepted the loss and moved on. This is a valuable lesson for all leaders. When you experience failure, learning from it and moving on is essential.
