[It is better to write this in Greek and let "See translation" to do the rest..] Κάποια στιγμή αρχίζεις να μην ενδιαφέρεσαι μόνο για το "αποτέλεσμα", αλλά περισσότερο για το πως είναι η καθημερινότητά όλων, μέχρι να φτάσετε σε αυτό. Και συνήθως.. το αποτέλεσμα ξεπερνά τις προσδοκίες! Και μια συνάντηση με τους "επενδυτές", μετατρέπεται σε μια όμορφη κουβέντα με φρούτα και χυμούς (εννοείται και σάντουιτς και καφέδες για να μη μας πουν ξενέρωτους). Και επειδή το ωραίο προσελκύει το ωραίο, έφερε και η Μυρτώ μια εξαιρετική σύνθεση, ώστε να ομορφύνει ακόμα περισσότερο το χώρο μας. Πέρασαν 5 χρόνια που ξεκινήσαμε το ταξίδι με τους Metavallon VC και στο διάστημα αυτό η BIOEMTECH μεταμορφώθηκε, από μια ακαδημαϊκή παρέα 10 ανθρώπων, σε μια εταιρία 40 ανθρώπων, που ωριμάζει, κάνει τους πειραματισμούς της και τα λάθη της, αλλά συνεχίζει να μεγαλώνει οργανικά, προσπαθώντας να ισορροπεί ανάμεσα στην υγεία των αριθμών και των ανθρώπων. Ευχαριστούμε τη Myrto Papathanou τον George Karantonis και τον Yorgos Mousmoulas (που έχασε χθες που δεν ήταν) για τη μέχρι τώρα εμπιστοσύνη. Και στον απόηχο της χθεσινής κουβέντας.. να πω ότι συμφωνούμε να πάμε για ακόμα μεγαλύτερα πράγματα. Έτσι, για να δεσμευτούμε δημοσίως 😉

First Aid Training today at BIOEMTECH For sure, you wouldn't like to find yourself in a position where someone needs help and you don't know what to do. And nobody would like to face such a situation alone, especially for family or friends. Having drinks, food, even giving salary increases, bonuses, days off etc is nice and we do it as much as possible. But there are more things that add value in our lives. This is why we decided to run a Frist Aid Training program at BIOEMTECH. We recommend this to more companies and research groups. It is really useful and for sure cost is not an obstacle. We area glad to be part of #CIVIS project, coordinated by Prof. Iordanis Mourouzis of the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. The program aims to address the challenges and innovative approaches in #cardiovascular and #metabolicdisease, from basic research to clinical practice. Many students visited this week BIOEMTECH Laboratories and we had the opportunity of showing our facilities and workflow. We look forward to more opportunities for demonstrating how #preclinicalimaging can be a valuable tool for #translationalresearch.
