💡 The IcARUS project at the CES Conference in Lyon! This past week, I had the pleasure to participate in the Council for European Studies' 30th International Conference of Europeanists, as part of the panel discussion for the IcARUS project, where we delved into the complex theme of "radicalisation" in contemporary Europe. It was a thought-provoking session that allowed us to explore the nuances and multifaceted nature of this issue. The IcARUS project stands at the forefront of re-thinking urban security, championing an innovative, multi-stakeholder approach. My contribution focused on how this project is reshaping our understanding and strategies towards urban security, making our cities safer and more resilient. The exchange of ideas and the depth of discussion at the conference were truly enriching. It's clear that through collaborative efforts like the IcARUS project, we can address the challenges of radicalisation with fresh perspectives and collective wisdom.
