𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞? Stephen Wolfram expresses concern about the future of programmers, noting that much of their work could be automated and completed more quickly by AI. He argues that this approach is neither right nor sustainable for the future. What do you think? Mastering prompt engineering is the coding of the future.
We offer career development in the technology space. Perhaps, we don't realise that coding can be... has been - simplified to that extent. As trainers, instructors and teachers of all things tech, we lag behind in our ability to stay current. Just when we get there and catch up, things have moved and changed... especially challenging when we work with limited budgets and poor communities. But, alas, we shall try our best to stay current. For, if we don't, we'll be training for redundant careers.
Stephen Wolfram’s perspective on the future of coding is both provocative and insightful. As AI advances, the automation of programming tasks seems inevitable, potentially sidelining human programmers. Wolfram suggests this shift could undermine the sustainability and ethical foundations of software development. If AI takes over coding, who will oversee quality, creativity, and ethical standards? The human touch in programming ensures diversity of thought and adaptability. The future of coding should integrate AI as a tool to enhance, not replace, human ingenuity. #FutureOfCoding #AIandTech #EthicalProgramming
Fascinating topic! While AI can automate certain tasks, I believe the creativity and problem-solving skills of human programmers will always be essential. Excited to see how the industry evolves! 🤖💡
Well we have to accept the fact that AI can take over the job of coding and programming. If there are ethical issues in that AI can destroy some IT jobs, there should be safeguards or options for them that will retool or enhance the jobs of those affected or currently engaged in those jobs the sooner the better. The reality is upon us. Fight or flight?
Will there come a point for human programmers where there is a saturation point to human imagination, a plateau? The model of diminishing returns, if you may. Could AI not take us beyond human imagination? There is a battle for machine-human merger that is ensuing today and there will be casualties. To what extent and where, is to be determined.
What a wise man once told me, “AI will only replace those who don’t use it.”
As we advance in #AI technology, it's crucial to reflect on the implications for programmers. Stephen Wolfram's concerns remind us to consider the balance between automation and human #creativity in coding. It's a thought-provoking discussion on the #future of the #industry.
I think Stephen Wolfram raises an important point about the future of programming and the potential impact of AI. While automation can certainly increase efficiency, it's important to consider the long-term implications for the industry and the workforce. It's crucial to find a balance between utilizing AI and maintaining the value of human expertise and creativity in coding. #ai #coding #tech

2wDon't worry, "Imagination is more important than knowledges" and humans are full of surprises ;) Hi is better than Ai.
