Here at Gateway, people are at the center of everything we do, and as employees, they are our most valuable asset. Before #NationalSafetyMonth comes to an end, we want to recognize our Health and Safety Compliance Specialist, Tyler Dickson, for his dedication to keeping all of us safe year-round. A typical day for Tyler begins with him reviewing current jobsite work with field personnel to see if any additional safety measures or assistance may be needed. Throughout the day, Tyler performs safety site visits, reviewing jobsites, potential hazards, and any work being done. Most importantly, he checks in with employee’s on-site to discuss safety observations, trends, and any resources needed to improve the job task. "Gateway’s philosophy is that our people are our best resource, and we have the responsibility and duty to protect them," Tyler said. "When we’ve faced situations where we can’t perform work safely, we don’t 'just get it done'; we communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with our project teams and resources to ensure that we can eliminate the hazards to perform work safely, protect our employees, and deliver quality and incident-free service to our clients." #GatewayEngineers #PeopleProjectsAndPurpose #CivilEngineering

“The first step of any job should be a simple question. If I do the job the way it is planned, could I get hurt, or could I hurt my coworkers? If the answer is ‘YES’ to either part of this question, one should stop and replan the job. Everyone going home safe is always our priority.” Joe Smith, Manager of Safety Safety is ALWAYS our priority at EGS! 💻https://lnkd.in/e2G2TKXw 📱(866) EGS-2022 📧 info@electragridsolutions.com #ElectraGridSolutions #EGSStrong #UtilityServices #SafetyFirst
