I was delighted to be interviewed by Taylor Driscoll for an article in Bisnow discussing Everett’s economic revival over the past few years, which Greystar has been intimately involved in. As I said in the piece, the city’s clarity around the process and timelines for developments has been quite refreshing, and it’s enabled us to move forward – confidently – with substantial investment in Everett. The article touches on the relatively inconspicuous nature of the Commercial Triangle and the industrial industries it housed with Everett’s own Planning & Development Department Director Matthew Lattanzi stating that, “unless you worked there or were passing through, you never knew they existed.” It’s a candid observation of the present, and one we are working to change. With improved transit access and spectacular proximity to employment and other destinations in Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville, it's only a matter of time before more people give Everett a closer look. With more than 1,900 units of housing being delivered to the Commercial Triangle from Greystar alone, big things are coming to this city. And it’s only the first step. As I noted at the article’s end, development of the Commercial Triangle will only support further opportunities in Everett, so keep your eyes on the city in the coming years. Read the full article to see why we are so bullish on Everett. https://lnkd.in/gaET2EUv #bostonrealestate #growthanddevelopment #CityofEverett #greystar
