I did a post during the #worldcupfootball last year on the night #England were playing #France. As you’ll know, England lost 2-1 (tant pis), but at least my French clients were taking my calls the next morning (and were very gracious - merci!). And so to 2023 and #LaCoupeduMondedeRugby is in full swing in #Paris and there is an incroyable buzz in the air. In the rules of rugby, there are no shoulder pads or helmets worn (unlike in American football). You have to go for a try with no protection and full confidence or potentially risk getting bruised trying (pun totalament intended!). And when the ball is being carried, it can only be thrown backwards to a team-mate in the hope that they then move forwards to victoire. This is because it is the progress of the “player” and not the “ball” that is decisive in #rugby (l’opposé to American football). Read that last bit encore! And so to law, those who are brave and go for it sans fear of the bruises, will eventually win. Fact! We see this at #Marsden all the time. But most importantly are your co-partners giving you good passes so that you can ultimeately move forward? Are they cross-selling and helping you progress and gain ground?
