Every founder should be prepared to answer this question correctly and thoughtfully.

SPACS are a great idea. Of course, they were executed horribly. I mean, for a 20% promote fee, I'd take my next-door neighbour's cat to market. But the problem they tried to solve is real. There are approx 100k VC-backed startups. That's one hundred thousand companies that will need an exit. Let's assume 10% survive long enough to get an exit. Great. No! Even in the best years for IPO [2021 BULL BULL BULL RUN] - only 1,000 IPOs came to market. So, the 10,000 startups that survived - would still need to wait many more years to get onto the IPO wait-list! Simply put, there is no Exchange machinery in place to have this many exits for startups. #spac #startups #finance #monetization
