All jobs come with pressures and it's interesting when we speak to candidates what their concerns may be on their current or future roles. I must say I was surprised with the below article as members of staff feeling stressed about their appearance is not something which I come across often. However research has shown that 30% of UK office workers feel this and it makes me think what is to blame? Whilst we still visit our clients and candidates in person as often as we can there has been a significant increase in the number of virtual meetings that we conduct. I think that the introduction of remote working has added to this stress for employees as they have become used to reduced face to face contact with colleagues and clients and thus when the time comes for meetings it can be a daunting task. I'd be keen to hear what your thoughts are on stress within the workplace and what you think can cause it? #research #hrtopics https://lnkd.in/e5mqdEYS

Employees with a best friend at work are... 📣 2x more likely to recommend their organization as a great place to work. 😍 2x more satisfied with their place of employment. 🛑 12% less likely to leave their employer. According to new research from Gallup, "Having a best friend at work has become more important since the start of the pandemic, even considering the dramatic increase in remote and hybrid work." Yet, only 2 in 10 employees report having a best friend at work. With such a gap b/w the lack of connection at work and the clear benefits of having more connection, this is what drives my work on team connection. Specifically at Rivet, we are unweirding and shrinking the time it takes to find a best friend at work. We are using the neuroscience of compatibility to connect colleagues who are scientifically proven to build a strong best-friend bond. Let's build stronger teams together! 💪 Reach out if we can help your team. #teambuilding #teamwork #isolation #remotework #loneliness

Whenever an Employee ask to their manager or boss, if he/she can WORK from HOME permanently. Ideally response should be: "As long the work gets done we don't care whether you work from the South pole or the office. We hired you for a job and we trust you to get it done." And like this, employee can save 2-3 hours of daily commute. Happy employee = greater productivity. Every organisation should learn that, if you focus on presence, you get presence. If you focus on results, you get results. If you can't trust your employees to work flexibly, why hire them in the first place? Trust is key. I wish one day all the Organizations thinks in a same way✨ #workfromhome #remotework #trust #flexibility #happyemployees

#Trust_Workplace When organizations don’t trust their employees, they impose restrictive policies. Similarly, if employees don’t trust their employers, they second guess their intentions and will resent work. Trust in general relates to reliability. It is the sense of being secure with people and having the space to express yourself and your ideas freely. The same feelings arising in a workplace results in workplace trust Build Trust workplace 🚀 build Great workplace Trust ✨️ Continue 👌 Growth 🙌
