3️⃣ Lessons I’m Learning (One of my buddies is about to break ground on a food truck park in Kingsport. Here’s what I e gleaned from the process.) 1. Vision: Lesson: “Casting Vision” A successful food truck park starts with a clear and compelling vision. The ability to articulate and communicate this vision will be key to attracting customers, vendors, investors, and supporters. The lesson here is that having a strong vision not only guides the business but also inspires others to join in and contribute to its success. 2. Resilience: Lesson: Overcoming Obstacles Launching any business, including a food truck park, involves facing numerous challenges. From regulatory hurdles to unexpected setbacks, resilience is crucial. Travis’s determination to persevere, adapt, and learn from setbacks will be instrumental in navigating the inevitable obstacles that come with this. 3. Collaboration: Lesson: “Fostering Partnerships • Building a successful food truck park involves collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders such as food truck owners, local authorities, vendors, and the community. Your friend’s ability to foster positive relationships, leverage collective expertise, and create win-win partnerships will be instrumental in creating a thriving ecosystem. Collaboration not only expands networks but also fosters innovation and sustainable growth. These lessons can serve as valuable insights not only for aspiring entrepreneurs but also for professionals looking to enhance their skills in vision casting, resilience, and collaboration in any industry. https://lnkd.in/eDqJFDXc #kingsporttn #foodtruck

🏙 For example, in Houston, restaurants have experienced a rise in sales due to the presence of nearby food trucks, leading restaurant proprietors to advocate for legislation facilitating food truck operations. Similarly, in Washington, DC, the emergence of four new brick-and-mortar restaurants 👩🍳 near Farragut Square, one of the city's bustling food truck hubs, illustrates how all businesses in the area benefit from the heightened foot traffic generated by food trucks. 🚚 Are you interested in the food truck industry? Remember food trucks? There used to be a nice variety of options for lunchtime in both downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis. What happened to them? Basically there are three main causes: 1. Emptying of downtown due to remote work during the pandemic. 2. Excessing licensing fees and parking enforcement. 3. Concentrated competition for events-based sales, where owners focus exclusively on festivals and events as opposed to the lunch crowd. Check out this insightful article from The Washington Post that offers innovative ideas to save the downtown food truck scene. Food trucks are just one of the many things that give downtown its vibe, and it's time to bring them back! https://lnkd.in/gEaWjnU6 #foodtrucks #downtownlunch #innovativeideas

Happy Monday, LinkedIn ! 🍕 Ready for a slice of genius? Domino's cooked up something extraordinary with their "Paving for Pizza" campaign in 2018. 🚗 Domino's Pizza uncovered this story through customer chats. They realized that rough roads were secretly sabotaging their business. So, they did what anyone would do – strapped a camera inside a pizza warmer and sent pizzas on a road trip. What they captured was pizza's epic battle against potholes. 🌐 But Domino's didn't stop at just sharing this video. They built PavingforPizza.com, a place where you could pick road conditions and watch a "Pizza Damage Report" video, showcasing the pizza's struggles. But wait, there's more! They invited you to nominate your city for grants to fix these road nightmares. 🏙️ Over 137,000 nominations rolled in, covering 15,000 zip codes. Domino's tracked these and rewarded the most nominated areas with grants. And here's the twist – they made it all fun with Asset Kits, filled with branding materials and pizza-themed goodies. 👷 Cities like Bartonville, Athens, and Burbank jumped into action, sharing their progress. Domino's local outlets even lent a hand by serving pizzas to Paving for Pizza crews. 🌟 What's the genius in all of this? Domino's didn't just sell more pizzas ; they sold an experience. They turned pizza delivery into an adventure worth remembering, one pothole at a time. 🗺️ The campaign's mission? To touch every state, one city at a time. And the best part? It's not just about pizza; it's about trust and being part of something bigger than a slice of pie. 🍕 🔔Follow and be a part of our community for insights in finance, economy, tech, and all industry trends. The Scale Up T&T has instilled core values in the members of the second Cohort. Pascal's Bakery has every intention to be the pioneer of generational wealth, an inspiration and representation for future companies to embody. “Growth equates Pascal’s Bakery playing a significant role in the Caribbean’s food security. It means producing a range of product lines that facilitates import substitution. In addition, it means being an integral player in building a resilient Caribbean food ecosystem based on values that foster trust, communication and integrity. Since enrolling in the Scale Up T&T programme, we created a ‘Growth Story Wall.’ This wall changes weekly, showcasing our company wins to all our employees, customers and suppliers. As we continue cultivating a celebratory culture, we are witnessing the significant benefit as our people are more motivated and in harmony with the company’s vision of cultivating togetherness while sharing a loaf.” #UTC #GoForGrowth #ScaleUpTT Wendy Bishop Daniel Isenberg Elaine Eisenman KEVIN MULCAHY Tim Marken Waltnel Sosa Ministry of Trade and Industry-TT
