🏆 The German Federal Agency for Disruptive Innovation (SPRIND) has launched the Circular Biomanufacturing Challenge! This is an open call for institutions based in EU member states, EFTA countries, Israel and the UK. It is open until September 17th 2023. 💪 The Challenge: To develop an end-to-end prototype that processes various carbonaceous waste streams into new products as a continuous bioproduction process. If you or your network is involved in the development of bio-based production systems fueled by carbonaceous waste streams, this opportunity is for you! Why You Should Be Interested: 🔴 A funding of up to €1.5M has been provisioned for each team for the first 12-month stage of the Challenge. Beyond that, further funding is available over two additional phases spanning a combined 2 years, with more funding of up to €4.5M. 🔴 The challenge is welcoming of start-ups, companies, universities, research institutes, and other institutions hailing from EU member states, EFTA countries, Israel and the UK.
