This technological advancement, rooted in AI, empowers companies to sift through extensive employee data, cross-referencing it with external labour market data, thereby uncovering previously unseen insights. What began in the realm of recruiting has rapidly expanded into various domains, encompassing job architecture analysis, skills intelligence, organization design, pay equity analysis, and even investigations into sales performance, turnover rates, customer service, and R&D output.

"Up until the last few years companies never had access to this information so they didn’t develop the teams or the internal skills to even use it. Now that this information is available we have a new profession and domain in HR, the talent intelligence professional. Already there are more than two thousand talent intelligence professionals in the world, and many more when you consider people doing people analytics and workforce planning."

Happy to proudly say that Workday is above the curve. The HiredScore acquisition has proven the vision of Workday in the AI space and paved way how to significantly utilise AI within a larger context. This is to speed up how big data is consumed, beyond whatever is there in the company. With this technology embedded within ERP engine it is today, Workday’s internally available data will be joined with publicly available big data available in the internet to form a strong benchmarked knowledge. This will in turn make tools smarter and able to contextualised its responses and AI recommendations to its internal organisation traits, benchmark it with common traits in segments of the industry or even to the common knowledge outhere. Some other ERP solution may say they have AI capabilities, but to have a real generative AI for talent and skills is still part a wildest dream for most of ERP solutions in the world.
