It was an eye-opening presentation this morning with Brad Schimel, who shared details on the nationwide drug crisis. Wisconsin and the Fox Cities are not immune, and Brad shared some startling statistics on the growth of this epidemic, as well as potential solutions. As a former DA and WI Attorney General, Schimel has firsthand knowledge of the issue and led a team that created the Waukesha Drug Treatment Court Program. He currently presides over Branch 6 of the Waukesha County Circuit Court. We appreciate him sharing his knowledge and insight with Chamber members, and also thanks to Miron Construction Co., Inc. for providing the space! We're bringing Leader Lab to Calumet County! The Chamber is partnering with Calumet County, Wisconsin Government to bring our groundbreaking leadership development program - Leader Lab: Linking Organizational Culture and Leadership - to businesses in the region. The program teaches a powerful array of proven, effective leadership insights and techniques. The classes will be held from 9 – 10:30 AM on Aug. 14 & 28, Sept. 11 & 25, Oct. 9 & 23 and Nov. 6.
