I have a digital Australian drivers licence and a plastic chipped Hong Kong ID card. The latter is my ID for everything from completing a form to booking a tennis court or borrowing a library book. It contains no more information than my bank holds and yet it centralises so much of my digital identity in one location with the responsibility firmly on one entity to maintain security. With so many companies failing to protect consumers from stolen personal data isn't it time we considered how our digital identity is managed. The journey into transition to tech is not an easy one, you only have to keep the zeal and keep pushing till you get to the extreme destination that you desire. I started this transition into tech sometime in the middle of 2023, I was overwhelmed and almost felt like halting it all but there was this little thing in me that always geared and urged me to keep pushing, saying to me, you have started and u can only move forward.
