The industry continues to evolve rapidly, with more AI advancements accelerating the shift to hyper-production. Output Inc.'s latest addition, Co-Producer, is a prime example of this transformation. This suite of generative AI tools, including the innovative Pack Generator, is designed to enhance the creativity of musicians and producers. It offers a unique capability to instantly create royalty-free sample packs based on user descriptions. This tool simplifies the process of finding the right sounds, a task that traditionally could take hours. Users can specify their requirements in terms of key, tempo, mood, genre, or even a specific artist's style, and the Pack Generator, in its beta version, responds with four tailored sample packs, each accompanied by a preview track. Every pack includes 30 royalty-free samples and stems for the preview track, seamlessly integrating into any digital audio workstation. Gregg Lehrman, CEO, emphasizes the fine line between leveraging AI's capabilities and maintaining human creativity. The objective is to enhance and augment the creative process, not overshadow it, by eliminating time-consuming tasks like sound searching. All musical instruments were once the latest technology at the moment of their creation. Humans have always been inventing new technology, while also improving their abilities to use it, resulting in the creation of previously unheard musical expressions. What remains is not the technology, but the music itself and the emotions that music brings to people. At Neutone, we believe that AI will further expand the possibilities of music in the future. Such musical discoveries will be beautiful and uplifting, enhancing joy and providing comfort in sadness. We are a team that work alongside artists to develop AI technology that creates new music and sounds that have never been heard before. 🦋Neutone Morpho Public Beta has arrived!🦋 https://neutone.ai/morpho Try the plugin for yourself! #morpho #neuralaudio #generatieveai #plugin #product #machinelearning #vst #betalaunch #audio #musictech

Interesting discussion about AI-generated music with one of the professionals in the business. While I'm fascinated by systems like Suno and Udio, I personally feel mixed about AI-generated music. For me, music is a platform to express feelings, sometimes opinions. Whose feelings or opinion does an AI express? Or is it just about how music makes the recipient feel (in which case it wouldn't matter whether an AI or a human created it, would it?). Perhaps I'm just getting old and behave like those who, in the 80s, rejected synth music because it wasn't "handmade" (and in return made me love synth music even more)? Now the snobbish me rejects AI-generated music for similar reasons? There will be a generation that will grow up with AI music, and they will probably find it the most natural thing in the world. Let's see where this leads us.
