First #DanishImpactMeetup concluded successfully with a strong and broad attendance👐 220 had registered, incl. 50 investors/GP/LP and +80 entrepreneurs and many other from the impact ecosystem such as NGOs, corporates and advisors. We presented the Danish Impact Committee and invited the ecosystem to come together for networking across the impact value chain. Thanks to the speakers Bo Sandberg, Thea Messel, Per Frederiksen, PhD, Jonas Ahm-Lundgren and Morten Halborg! The committee consists of 5 impact investments funds, 2 pension funds, Active Owners, TechBBQ and DISIE, the Danish Institute for Sustainable Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Together the committee represents almost €2bn (DKK13mia.) dedicated to impact investing. Please also welcome our latest member KRING. With its unique position among Danish investors, Aktive Ejere - Active Owners Denmark is well suited to be a focal point for an impact forum in Denmark and other actors in the impact ecosystem. We want to promote #impactinvesting and entrepreneurship in Denmark, facilitate knowledge and attract more attention and capital to the sector. We will do this by strengthening the communication of – and the understanding of – impact investments to the general public, decision makers and asset owners. For example, by helping to build a common definition of impact investments, bring attention to its benefits to Danish society, and assisting in improving framework conditions for entrepreneurs and investors through Active Owners. We will also do this by sharing best case examples, research and establishing international cooperation and working groups on the related agendas of the impact community. We are excited to share that Anders Borring has acquired a majority stake in our portfolio company, Chromaviso and takes on the role of chairman with the goal of expanding the company into new industries. The aim is to give everyone access to a healthier and better work environment by utilizing the company's lighting solutions. We are proud to continue supporting Chromaviso’s expansion and grateful to Anders Kryger and Claus Puggaard, co-founders of the company for what they have achieved, pioneering and building a leading circadian lighting company for the healthcare sector. Few recognised as early as them the healthy effects of this light and successfully completed 3,000+ lighting installations, working with over 130 hospitals, psychiatric departments, and nursing homes.
