The secret weapon of successful contractors Successful contractors know that the key to success is to focus on their core strengths and outsource the rest. That's why so many successful contractors use umbrella companies. Umbrella companies take care of all the financial and administrative aspects of contracting, so contractors can focus on what they do best: delivering exceptional results for their clients. Here are just a few of the ways that umbrella companies can help contractors achieve success: • Free up time: Umbrella companies save contractors a significant amount of time by taking care of all the financial and administrative tasks. This allows contractors to focus on their work and grow their business. • Reduce stress: Umbrella companies can help to reduce stress for contractors by taking care of all the financial and administrative worries. This allows contractors to relax and focus on their work. • Improve compliance: Umbrella companies ensure that contractors are compliant with all relevant legislation and regulations. This gives contractors peace of mind and allows them to focus on their work. If you're looking for a way to improve your success as a contractor, using an umbrella company is a great option. #UmbrellaCompany #Contracting #Success #Time #Stress #Compliance

Contractors under-value themselves every day. But maybe they're not wrong... Most Contractors: 1. Don't know their numbers... 2. Don't communicate effectively... 3. Don't lead their teams with clear intention... So it's not a surprise to me that most Contracting businesses are struggling to keep the lights on. There's not a single coach, agency, partner that can save Contractors from their worst enemy -- themselves. Creating a company that is self-sustaining and operates without the Founder's continuous inputs requires more than a "mindset shift". It requires investing at all costs to get better at the skills that are keeping the business from growing. It requires unrelenting accountability. It requires undistracted focus. It requires persistence, and doubling down when it's uncomfortable. 82.6% of Contracting businesses in the US fail for one reason. It's not because of interest rates. Or homeowners being indecisive. Or laborers being unreliable. It's because most Contractors AREN'T willing to give what's required. The silver-lining? It's easier than ever to stand out in an industry of people who are fixed in their ways. Create a company that makes a real impact, and changes the way that people live. - Lev

Are you a contractor? Or do you happen to be contracting? It’s been an interesting week… and lots of people in different scenarios (breakfasts, round tables and general catch ups) have referred to me as a contractor. There’s nothing wrong with that… I have been contracting, since I took redundancy over a year ago… but that came about more by default, than design… but it has made me think… Am I seen as a contractor now? Is that the way I’m perceived? If so… is that limiting my options…? I don’t know… Its a little more philosophical than I tend to get on a Friday… but to be a contractor is (I think) somewhat of a lifestyle choice… where as, to be someone who happens to be contracting, is more circumstantial… or at least it is in my case. Anyway… on that note, have a great weekend! #talentacquisition #recruitment #contract #contracting
