[ #FMFoundation ] And we’re back! 🤩 This time with new highlights of FM Foundation’s actions. This June, we took significant steps to support and uplift communities in India, Romania, and the Czech Republic. Here's a snapshot of our initiatives:   🇨🇿 Czech Republic: In an effort to bridge the gap to employment our teams organised a series of workshops, for beneficiaries aged 16 to 19, that were designed to better integrate them into the work environment, providing them with essential skills and knowledge to kickstart their careers. 🚀 🇷🇴 Romania: In Bucharest, our dedicated employees came together to help our beneficiaries complete their professional skill sets. An initiative that is so crucial in boosting their employability and ensuring they are well-prepared for their careers. 💼 🇮🇳 India: We celebrated the achievements of our supported beneficiaries, alongside the NGO Work for Equity who works tirelessly for the holistic development of marginalized children. Last week, we asked you about how much you care about sustainability when it comes to purchasing decisions? 🤔 79% of you stated that sustainability is embedded in your values. And you know what? We have that in common. 😍 And because we are so adamant about creating a sustainable and ethical supply chain, we crafted our Responsible Purchasing Charter to not only reaffirm our commitments but also to promote practices that we believe to be game-changing. We are always proud to work with partners who share our same vision. [ #Partnership ] 430 million cosmetics produced annually and 17 years in the making, and we are still going strong! 💪 We are happy to share that we are extending our partnership with the L'Oréal Group for 4 years in our FM Logistic Central Europe distribution centre in Błonie, near Warsaw. This L'Oréal Warsaw Plant started out as the first client of our Błonie distribution centre in 2007, which functions as an international hub for L'Oréal factories from Poland, and continued to flourish alongside us. It is with deep sadness and great emotion that we announce the passing of FM Logistic's co-founder and Honorary Chairman, Claude Faure, May the 20th, 2024, at the age of 85. Prominent figure in the transport and logistics sector, Claude Faure devoted his life to the development of the company, which today stands out as a key player in the industry. Beyond his professional achievements, Claude Faure was known for his generosity, his humanistic vision and his commitment to his employees and partners. He was respected and admired as much for his expertise as a family entrepreneur as for his remarkable human qualities. He declared: “Everything must be done so that employees can develop within the company, close to their families and their hometowns”. In these difficult times, the employees of FM Logistic wholeheartedly join in the grief of his family and loved ones.
