When Raffinerie Heide GmbH Heide Refinery set out to reduce emissions and improve energy efficiency, they sought out the expertise of our Energy Advantage Program. “We are thrilled with the initial results.” After implementing recommendations from #Flowserve, Heide Refinery is expected to reduce its power consumption annually by more than an estimated 2,000 Megawatt Hours (MWh) and lower carbon emissions by over 1,300 metric tons per year. Recently, a series of storms in Dallas, TX brought power outages and localized flash floods to the area. But major flooding in the nearby Trinity River Basin remains under control due in part to 11 #Flowserve CVP pumps installed in pump stations in 2018. These CVP pumps increased Dallas’ pumping capacity by 117%.
