Last week, two of our employees, Gaétan Gouineaud and Thomas Kubyska participated in the Fremman Padel Cup, a padel tournament organized by Fremman to raise funds for “Le Village de François”. This association creates shared living spaces for vulnerable people and their caregivers, focusing on community living, economic activity, and integral ecology. The Padel Cup successfully raised €30,000 from participants, which will finance renovation work for the third shared house at “Le Village de François” in Audaux, accommodating 8 people. We are proud that #Flexstone Partners' employees regularly get involved with various associations to help people in need, and we support their actions.

avinjo promotes the SDGs! avinjo supports community-led NGOs in the Global South with fundraising, all dedicated to achieving the 2030 Agenda. Through this series, our primary goal is to impart knowledge and promote awareness about the Sustainable Development Goals (#SDGs). Let’s continue with the SDG11-SIX-DAY-SERIES This is day 5 ✅️ Take an active interest in the governance and management of your city. Advocate for the kind of city you believe you need. ✅️ Develop a vision for your building, street, and neighbourhood, and act on that vision. Are there enough jobs? Can your children walk to school safely? Can you walk with your family at night? How far is the nearest public transport? What’s the air quality like? What are your shared public spaces like? The better the conditions you create in your community, the greater the effect on quality of life. 🌎 🌏 🌍 Avinjo.org - Empowering NGOs avinjo #Avinjo #NGO #fundraising #crowdfunding #GlobalSouth #nonprofit #SDG11 #Agenda2030 #sustainablecities Source: https://lnkd.in/ejeKUVb

Can anyone help Hayley?
Help and Advice needed. 🇨🇭🤞🏻 Scouting has been a huge part of my life, and it's now inspiring the next generation! My son and I have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in a Scouting adventure in Kandersteg, Switzerland, but we need to raise £3,000. 🇨🇭 We're already busy with bake sales, football cards, and using Easy Fundraising but I'm reaching out to the hive mind: Do you have any creative fundraising ideas, or knowledge of grants or bursaries that could help us reach our goal? 🎯 Any assistance, big or small, would be hugely appreciated. Let's help make this scouting dream a reality! 😃 #scoutingadventure #switzerlandbound #fundraisingformemories #kandersteg #togetherweachieve The Scouts #SkillsforLife P.S. Another brilliant example of how movement can make a difference. I’m sure we’ve all seen the celebratory media coverage of ultrarunner, Russ Cook, who recently completed his 352-day run from the southernmost point to the northernmost tip of Africa. Having spent almost a year on his feet, he has (so far) managed to raise over £1m for charity, with people from across the world showing their support. Now, there is currently another remarkable running story underway. Deo K., a 36-year-old Ugandan-born Londoner, is on a mission to run from Cape Town back to his hometown of London. With this journey, Deo’s goal is to get more people thinking and talking about the story of human migration from Africa to the rest of the world. As he explained to Sidetracked Magazine & Sidetracked Studios, “People are still migrating…[because they]…are forced to leave their homes…in search of safer, better environments to call home.” This incredibly selfless act is monumentally poignant in today’s society, and I hope it will raise awareness of and support for Deo’s important cause. As an agency that combines a focus on storytelling with a love of movement, it’s amazing to see such inspirational stories play out in the real world. That’s why Aspire has made Deo the first-ever recipient of the Aspire Active Communities Fund. This fund is an opportunity for us to give back to the community that we care for so strongly and help support its continuing growth. Led by Aspire’s Community and Talent Manager, Lory Louves, we hosted a ‘Moving Meet’ in March for Deo. It was a great success, with dozens of runners and supporters coming together to help raise funds and the profile of this remarkable challenge. As an agency, I’m proud that we’ve developed to be in a position to actively support others through our work. To find out more about Deo’s inspiring story and challenge from the words of his partner, Alice Light, plus other supportive members of the running community, David Bone, Tasha Thompson, Khosi Hlongwane CA(SA) and Lory Louves, read our recent article – https://lnkd.in/egUg5X8r. You can also donate and check Deo’s progress on his dedicated GoFundMe page – https://lnkd.in/eMW2KbFh. #DeoKato #RussCook #Ultrarunning #MovementMatters #PR #SportsPR

This is the #Norwegian way of procuring furniture in an unfurnished home. Every term a group of 2000 #exchange #students throw out used furniture, and then a couple days later, another 2000 need to buy the same stuff. The #sustainable solution? A #volunteer-run organization called @restore bridges the two groups: donations and free furniture. The smaller pieces I rode home in a cargo e-bike borrowed (for free!) from Trondheim folkebibliotek (the local public library), and the bigger pieces #ReStore delivered for 150 NOK (C$19, to cover the costs of renting their van). How #utopian!!

MPI pledges support to the Maui events community through localized relief and extensions to the Hawai’i membership community, thanks to the MPI Foundation. In the wake of the fires that devastated portions of western Maui, Meeting Professionals International is donating $5,000 to the Maui Strong Fund, established by the Hawai’i Community Foundation. Working with the Hawai’i Visitors and Conventions Bureau and Meet Hawai’i, MPI will seek to direct those funds specifically towards impacted individuals within the tourism and hospitality community. If you would like to donate, please click here: https://lnkd.in/g6qNiU28 Supplementing that donation, the MPI Foundation is providing funds that will extend the memberships for an additional six months to all 37 MPI members who currently reside in the state of Hawai’i. It’s imperative that we offer support so they can continue taking advantage of the benefits related to MPI membership during this challenging time. We also want to ensure our community of meeting and event professionals are aware that areas in Maui unaffected by the wildfires (including Kahului, Wailuku, Wailea, Mākena, Pā’ia, and Hāna) remain open for business. As do other islands within the state, such as Kaua’i, O’ahu, Lāna’i, Moloka’i and Hawai’i Island. Tourism and business events are critical economic drivers for the state of Hawai’i and Maui specifically, accounting for 70% of its local economy. As champions of this industry, we need to support local Maui residents by providing financial support, maintaining business in the areas that remain open, and spreading the message that group meetings are welcomed and needed. #mauistrong #mpi #eventprofs Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau
