Society and Pop Culture have long been awash with doomsday predictors when it comes to Artificial Intelligence. In fact, The Terminator was released in 1984 (that’s 40 years next year, people!). While enslavement seems a little far fetched, these narratives do prompt a more reasonable question: Where does regulation come into play? And, how might these checks and balances relate to the sub-domain of video analytics technology? Very pleased to have hosted an interesting and insightful panel on Network Denisty with Sanjay Kumar Misra, Ed Lambert and Michael Clegg at this week's MWC Las Vegas! Some key takeaways for me: - Networks are becoming complex, and greater intelligence will need to be deployed to address greater traffic. Hardware and software R&D is key! - As an industry, we need to continue to work together with app developers to optimize use cases - AI will play a crucial role in future networks, moreso than it already is today - We are all talking about small cells again!

Hugging Face is excellent, I've used it to teach NLP and it is great for that and other forms of AI

Two #mwc24 thoughts now that there's less than a week before the wireless industry's gathering in Barcelona: 1) Do the companies hosting events only on Monday think that journalists will fly all the way to Spain, spend a single day on the show floor and then fly home Tuesday, so that's their only shot at getting our attention?
