ARCHITECTURAL 3D VISUALIZATION (3D RENDERING) We are pleased to present our renderings for the renovation project of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lille.   The architectural and construction project designed by A2M Architecture (Belgium), daum architectes (France) and Bouygues Construction (France) is a modern reinterpretation of a 1960s building. The renovation utilizes advanced parametric design techniques that integrate building physics and passive house principles. These innovative approaches have significantly improved the building's energy efficiency, provided an optimal microclimate and created a comfortable environment for students and faculty.   3D visualizations by Provisual.pro studio demonstrate all aspects of the new project. The visualization includes exterior views of the renovated building, emphasizing key architectural solutions and the use of environmentally friendly materials. Particular attention is paid to details reflecting the interaction of light and space, as well as the integration of the building into its surroundings.   Architectural 3D visualization is an important tool for presenting the architectural design to the public, potential investors and participants in the construction process, providing a full understanding of the scope and goals of the renovation. From Visualization to Reality: The Thurgau Residence Comes to Life, 1800 km for photos In early 2020, our team at Flying Architecture was hard at work preparing visualizations for a multi-family residential project in Thurgau, Switzerland. Given the typical size and scope of projects we work on, it's not often that we get to see the finished buildings in real life. So you can imagine my excitement when I learned this particular project was nearing completion!🚀 Scheduling a time for photography proved a bit challenging, but the joy was that much greater when we finally aligned our schedules and locked in a date. The two-day photoshoot in the beautiful surroundings was a real pleasure - ample time to experiment with compositions and moods, to capture the essence of the house and its connection with the environment. Corner terraces, irregularly placed windows, concealed ventilation openings next to glass surfaces covered by horizontal lines, and the horizontal aluminum slats encircling the facade all create an effect of depth and playfulness, transforming a building of clear shapes into a work upon which the passerby's eye continually discovers new nooks and crannies. Seeing our visualizations come to life in physical form is always a special moment. It's a testament to the hard work and close collaboration between architects, developers, engineers, and visualization artists to shepherd a shared vision from initial concept to a real building that enhances people's lives. Did you know our team of daylight specialists can assist you in designing distinctive and dynamic spaces? When designing the Sunnyvale Independent School, @wra-architects-inc sought an energy efficient way to provide daylight into the new school's state-of-the-art library. The architect worked with the Solatube team to strategically install Solatube Tubular Daylighting Devices (TDDs) in varying lengths. Each TDD was then paired with custom-cast acrylic tubes, creating a chandelier effect that flooded the space with broad-spectrum daylight. In many architectural settings, the preference often leans toward larger window views over smaller ones. However, did you know that orientation of the window is also important to the determination of window size for an optimal view out? In our latest research using virtual reality, we showed that the window-to-wall ratio is not always a reliable indicator of window size when it comes to sizing windows, particularly for small ones oriented either in landscape or portrait. These findings were supported by physiological measurements, highlighting the important relationship between the window view and human perception.
