Some Updates- Lately, I've been feeling inadequate on learning AI/ML as I jumped straight into the Maths first because that was the fundamental required on understanding the whole of AI/ML. But I jumped in too fast and too far ahead. I no longer feel confident in the knowledge that I've learnt so far. Although I keep saying to myself that I've been in the tech field for like a decade now since I started early, I took much of it for granted. Because someone who just started 3-6 months ago could excel in far better performance, knowledge and skills than me. Why? Because they were consistent. Every single day. I wasn't. I had gaps in my Journey, due to unfavorable circumstances. And now I'm suffering from Knowledge gaps. However, I do understand reading code structure, but I no longer have the ability to write advance code anymore. Because of this reason, I've embarked on a self-paced learning journey, exploring various online resources, taking courses, and immersing myself in the latest research and developments. I'm determined to gain a deeper understanding of the underlying principles, algorithms, and practical applications of AI and ML. This journey is not without its challenges, but I'm embracing them as opportunities for growth and self-improvement. I'm committed to pushing past my comfort zone, challenging myself, and continuously expanding my horizons. Join me, as we embarked on this challenging field of AI/ML where new things are being innovated, constantly updated and new horizons that are to be expanded.

Artificial intelligence is all the rage right now and there’s never been a better time to dive in and learn relevant skills to help power your career to the next level. To do that, you’ll need to be ready to pivot, not just once or twice, but on a regular basis – long term. It involves identifying transferable skills that you have, and those that you don’t have, because AI technology is a broad field with a variety of specialties each of which requires unique skillsets. And you must also decide which AI disciplines appeal to you the most in order to focus your efforts on specific goals. That will call for an inventory of soft and hard skills in order to plot a particular path forward. You must learn the fundamentals behind AI and at least some of the basics behind programming and math. Those can be learned in a variety of online and onsite courses and programs that cater to novices. Think Coursera, EdX, Udemy, IBM and Goole, not to mention a plethora of academic institutions that provide such training. Try simply jumping into beginning AI projects, learn as you go, and practice solving roadblocks that you’ll inevitably encounter. We’re talking about real-world problems and challenges, stuff that you will run into sooner or later. Then you can increase the complexity and diversity of work and discover what appeals to you, and what does not. Use it all to build a portfolio about your learning experiences and the insight that you gained. Lastly, get out there and mix it up! Network with AI professionals and maybe even some experts in the field. Think LinkedIn and a host of other social media platforms that cater to AI professionals at all levels. Use these strategies to begin your journey. They’re just one way of getting you started.
