The latest report from Broadridge reveals the top 50 asset management brands in Europe, with BlackRock leading the way, followed by J.P. Morgan and Fidelity Investments. The study, which has been ongoing for 13 years, aims to assess the relative brand attractiveness of asset managers across Europe, APAC, and the US, by gathering the opinions of fund selectors. Here are some key takeaways from this year’s ranking. 💭Investors are losing their risk appetite: As risk-averse investors seek stability and more guaranteed returns, the most established brands remain a trusty port of call, with no changes in popularity within the top five. 🌎#ESG is no longer a silver bullet: Asset management brands with strong ties to ESG investing all saw brand scores fall in 2023 due to building regulatory pressure and global energy security issues. 📊Private markets are on the rise: Despite rising management fees, Schroders's success in the private markets limited their brand's damage, dropping only one space in the rankings.
