Prof. Ndubuisi, I started following you keenly when I saw your appointment on Abia Project. We cannot talk of Abia without Aba. Aba is blood of Abia. Let the Governor try as much as possible to fix Aba city major roads, Ngwa Road, Ohanku Road, Obiohia and it's environs. Once the road is fixed and Electricity stabilized, Abia State 80percent challenge has been solved. We Abians can take care of security in our own way. With good road network and Electricity, most youths that engage in crimes will be too busy for crime and there would be no hidden place for those that refused to be useful. Let the first thing be done first, fixed the roads and stabilized the electricity, every other things will fall into places.
If you live in Aba and some communities in Abia, it is fair to write that Abians voted for a LEADER in Dr. Alex Otti. When he called me, and asked me to join the Economic Transformation Council to move Abia Forward, I knew it was a great moment. For weeks, day and night, we crafted the Economic Plan. As 100 days arrive since he took oath (May 29th - Sept 6th, 2023), I can say that Mr. Governor has nailed the checklists with weeks to spare. It comes down to Execution, and we’ve got a great operator and executor. Aba is coming back. Yes, no more excuses of no money. How can you say that Abia has no money when you see mansions people build in Ohafia, Abiriba and Arochukwu with most of the wealth coming from Aba? Abia will move forward. The next phase is dealing with insecurity which has to be a joint effort with all the neighbouring states. Once that is done, the playbook will open wider. #believe in Abia. #believe in Nigeria. Let's having a working nation. Ndubuisi Ekekwe Member, Abia State Economic Transformation Council

With the just concluded mentorship programme, organised by FALAS (West-African programme) , I am indeed satisfied and elated for the informative experience I have gained from experts in various fields in the legal profession. some of the take Home points are: 📌 we need to encourage cooperation between the Judiciary, the law enforcement in Africa. 📌 one of the trends in Africa is the shift to Alternative Dispute Resolution in resolving disputes and the best way to be ahead of the curve as a lawyer is to adapt to the changes as it comes and this is done by exposure. 📌 Technology is not just a tool for advanced progress but the key to achieving process. 📌 Women in positions of authority and power is changing the leadership narrative in Africa and lastly Africa needs a substantial efforts from all stakeholders to address the challenges plaguing the implementation of it laws The session was indeed an insightful one ✨🙌 I must thank Victoria Imoh Udoh(ACArb, AICMC, MIAR, ASHATI) and others who made this mentorship programme a successful. #mentorshipinafrica #legalprofession #Nigerianlawyersindiaspora #Energylawyers.

I am pleased to see others embracing the core of my February 2024 proposal for an international trusteeship regime for post-conflict governance in Gaza, as the best possible way forward. In this regard my own ideas build upon earlier suggestions by Amb. Martin Indyk from 2003 and 2007 and align with recent proposals from Omar Dajani and Limor Yehuda in the New York Times. Read my proposal in The Lawfare Institute from February which advanced similar arguments: https://lnkd.in/emUeBtXY
