With no one else willing to investigate, Rabbi Mo becomes the detective, and as the bodies pile up, he becomes a modern day resistance fighter and must learn how to use a gun. At the heart of the film is the unexpected bond between the rabbi and an antisemite, as well as Mo’s looming fear that he won’t pull the trigger if he has to… and that he will. As the opening feature for the 19th annual Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival, “Guns & Moses” world premiered on June 19, 2024 at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills.
