We just released our 2023 half-year results – reaching +8.4% like-for-like sales growth, supported by resilient volume/mix and continued pricing, with all categories and geographies contributing. This is thanks to all the strong efforts done by the teams to streamline and simplify our portfolio, reinvest efficiently behind our brands, and unlock efficiency gains. It is great to see these efforts paying off across zones!
In Europe we have delivered a solid net sales increase at +6.4% in the first semester driven by waters and Specialized Nutrition. On EDP, we are progressing with the transformation of our portfolio and reinvestments on our brands and we expect volume dynamics to recover sequentially.
In China, North Asia and Oceania, we sustained our strong growth momentum with +12.4% sales increase, with positive volume and mix. This is the result of a strong winning-share performance of our SN business but also a positive turnaround of our Mizone brand in China.
Finally, in the Rest of the world zone, sales increased by +7.7% notably driven by double digit growth of our Specialized Nutrition business across markets, while we are continuing our EDP portfolio optimization in Africa.

Today we released solid first semester results, delivering yet again consistently on our ambition and business model! These past few months, we made real progress on our strategic agenda, further strengthening our core, investing behind our winners and actively addressing our underperformers.
But while we see green shoots of success across the portfolio, we know the job is not completely done. We remain, more than ever, focused on building further resilience into Danone, by further stepping up our execution, but also by leveraging increasingly more our Science, Operations and Investments.
A huge thank you to all of our incredible and dedicated Danoners! I cannot help but spare a thought for our colleagues in Russia, who are facing an unprecedented situation that we are following closely.
