Today we're unveiling our Figure 01 robot. Watch as we demonstrate dynamic bipedal walking - a milestone the team was able to hit within 12 months of company inception. Want to build humanoid robots? We are hiring and looking for exceptional engineers: https://lnkd.in/g5wHEqyF
So many of these humanoid robots walk. Why? Most uses for these would not require using stairs. Rolling on a number of wheels would be so much easier (and efficient) for movement.
Congrats! 🚀🚀🚀 Side question: the outer body components/panels/neck look like CNC’d aluminum. Why not a lighter-weight polymer or even CF to reduce moving mass? Easier to stick with one material in the short term? Heat sinks?
Congratulations Brett Adcock! I look forward to seeing the next milestones towards the figure robot being able to work in a warehouse and meeting it in person! Also, please check out https://www.plato.systems/ Plato Systems. They know what happens in warehouses today. #robot #humanoid #humanoidrobot #warehouse
Now I finally understand your logo design! Nice going there with the footfall pattern. Out of curiosity Jerry Pratt: why are your feet flat plates, human feet aren't and the roll-over shape is a nice feature or even enabler of dynamic walking, isn't it?
hi,our factory provide 6 axis force sensor for Humanoid robot , pls feel free contact us if you need this products . my email : lily@kunweitech.com
How far down the road did you start on the design of the head?
Congratulations!!! What method you're pursuing? More end to end vision/ai approach or leaning more on heurístics ?
Incredible! 💪😺🤘
Congratulations to the Figure Team! It's amazing to see what a high performing product and prototype development team can do in such a short period 👏👏

9moWhen do you hope to have a robot that can : 1) skip with a rope 2) play hopscotch 3) play tag 4) play rugby ?
