Right, time for a state of the nation here from your Enterprise SaaS friends. Good times are well and truly over for folks selling 1) old school tech 2) anything requiring massive implementations 3) exclusively to smaller, venture funded companies. How do we know? Well, sales seem to be flatlining for a lot of companies. We're going to see company failures in 2024. Anything that doesn't provide immediate value on switch-on, and offer 12 month max returns (on risk or cost) is dead on arrival. Unless it's AI 🤣, then there's another 18 months to go.

Daily occurence, that some new innovative SaaS Services can be easily interlinked with digital platforms. Even if they are not perfect, its often the fastest way to innovate. However, they are generating both technical issues and budget problems. Many of these systems can have a significant impact in case one's digital platform is successful in the market - IT budgets are by design and difficult to shift in larger firms. The other issue is that we are in "dependency-hell," meaning these services interoperate, and each of them has bugs or kinks with them, which require some "glue" to be coded by your IT Department to manage. Monitoring oversight and identifying issues can suffer after having 50+ of these (not usual), and with Gen AI, I guess there will be another 50 on top. In many cases having so many leads to more problems and also more lock in, preventing easy features to be rolled out as easily. The critical question is, are we proactively defining strategy, roadmap, budgets, and architecture, or are we just reacting? Is there governance so that we know who buys what? Even and especially larger corporations have these issues. Tech debt is one of the biggest issues in RevOps today.   Scaling companies (and RevOps teams) often find themselves with large impactful problems and minimal time/resources to solve them. It’s easy to find some RevOps software that promises to solve your problems, and it’s even easier to throw money at a martech application or the sales tech stack than to actually understand the root cause of the issue. After implementing the solution, you’ll often find that the problem hasn’t gone away (and you’ve introduced a new problem: Tech Debt!) What's tech debt? For many organizations, the combination of lots of tools and years of outdated system maintenance leads to messy data, convoluted and contradictory automation, and workflows that no longer match business processes. ARway.ai - The Spatial Computing Platform (CSE:ARWY, OTCQB:ARWYF) is transitioning to a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model and has automated portions of its sales process, the company announced.  The company is now able to offer its starter and developer user plans via self-service sign-up, which #ARway believes will increase revenue, expand distribution channels and boost usage.  The move comes as ARway is gaining stream with partners, developers and enterprise clients, CEO Evan Gappelberg said.  “While ARway is gaining momentum with enterprise sales supported by a pipeline of almost $3 million in potential business we thought the timing is now to launch a SaaS offering,” Gappelberg added. Arway has seen roughly 2,800 free active users in 2023, an increase of over 10x year-over-year, and has 35 active trials and pilots.
