While navigating her first postpartum period, Elle St. Pierre qualified for team USA to compete at the Paris Olympics in both the 1500m and the 5000m. At the U.S Olympic Team Trials she not only finished first in the the 5000m but broke the record for the U.S Trials [14:40.34] and ran a personal best time in the 1500m [3:55.99] finishing in third place. She has a 17-month-old son and is a dairy farmer in Vermont. What can’t she do?!
I would have been soooooo annoyed. But I am very happy she ignored it like we all do and still came out on top!
If only we can tell periods to work accordingly but nope, we can’t! The struggle is real! Congrats to Elle!
I love reading the Female Quotient. I wish I could share some of these with the woman who came before us. I am sure some of them would have embraced 💖
Women are Truly the Most Divine Creation within the Natural Laws of the Universe.
So inspiring. This shows that the only obstacle we have or things that we set up for ourselves
Wow, Elle St. Pierre is incredible! Balancing motherhood, Olympic dreams, and managing a dairy farm in Vermont—she's truly a force of nature. Her determination and achievements are beyond inspiring. Can't wait to see her shine in Paris!
Mary Lou Prevost . As a father of three strong daughters. I celebrate this. Strong in many ways.
Exactly why we are stronger than we realise 💪🏽
Go, Elle, go! Love your spirit, grit, and determination. Good luck in Paris. I'll be watching the track and field events for sure now!
