We are taking the first steps towards our first vertically intregrated ChopValue Microfactory in Vietnam as part of this family run chopstick production north of Hanoi. 🇻🇳 - Up to 25% of the entire resource stream is currently considered waste. - 50% of the total remaining production volume doesn’t qualify as A-Grade for export purposes to Japan due to the decreasing quality of available wood species. - with approximately 1,5 Billion chopsticks per year in this location alone, we are looking at close to 50 tonnes of “waste to resource” potential per month: virgin fibre that’s currently of no use in any of the locally available supply chains. A win-win for us to explore an in-house, value engineered model for the readily available large available volumes of residues and byproducts to avoid dumping or burning, and to improve the resource efficiencies and therefor competitive margins of the main operation. Thank you Jackson & Family for hosting me, let’s get to work 🌱🥢
Bravo ! Love this
Congrats Felix!
Congrats Felix!
Fantastic - love the idea of reducing waste at source!
