It's #NursesWeek. We've got some fun facts about nurses you'll want to know...and some unfun facts you really ought to know. Wondering what you can do to support nurses? Call or email your congressperson and tell them you support the FAAN Act—a bill that seeks to provide grants to fund nurse education and ease nurse shortages. #FCBCURE #CUREculture #CUREfortheordinary #nationalnursesweek

One of the most popular questions we get asked is, Can Canadian nurses use RN2writer's programs? The short answer: YES! Screen readers: Graphic that states: Can Canadian nurses use RN2writer's programs? Yes! Many Canadian nurses have enrolled in our programs, and we’ve also worked with nurses in Australia and the U.K. Our programs are designed primarily for North American nurses with a good grasp of American English and the U.S. healthcare system, but the systems and processes we teach can work for any nurse, regardless of geographic location. #rn2w #freelancewriting #nursewriters #amwriting #nursingcareers #nursing #freelancerlife #writingcoach #registerednurse #nurselife #nurses #offtheclocknurse #scrublife #nurseblogger #medicalprofessional #nurseflow #lifeofanurse #nursepractitionerlife #rnlife #nursesonlinkedin #nursesoflinkedin #linkedinnurse

Nurse appreciation is the focus of National Nurses Week, which begins May 6. Be sure to plan your Nurses Week celebrations now so you can adequately thank the fabulous nurses you know or employ! Nurses remain the most trusted profession, with 78% of U.S. adults currently believing nurses have high honesty and ethical standards, according to Gallup’s 2023 Honesty and Ethics poll. In addition to being trusted, nurses are universally respected due to their deep knowledge, kindness, and overall care for people. Anyone who has needed healthcare in any capacity is likely to underscore that nurses are truly the heartbeat of medicine. https://lnkd.in/gMG63Mbg #thankanurse #nurseappreciation #nationalnursesweek #giftcertificate #appreciationgifts #nurserecognition #thankyounurses

Nurses are not backbones of any hospital. Nurses are professionals who deserve great terms and conditions of work. These euphemisms, from "heroes" , "angels" to "backbones" are what obscure the fundamental role of a nurse to vague false equivalents. I do not mind appreciation, I care though for accurate representation of who a nurse is. Truth be told, not many people in the public know. Curiously, even nurses themselves often flounder when it comes to accurately describing their roles hence resorting to "backbones" and other fine-sounding catchphrases. Disruptive ideas drive change. Familiarity breeds complacency. Have a lovely weekend. #nursesonlinkedin #nursing #nurseideas #latenighthoughts

The nursing shortage is a critical issue facing the healthcare industry, and some believe that one solution is to attract more young people to the profession. Proponents of this approach argue that younger nurses are often more tech-savvy and adaptable, and they can bring fresh perspectives to the field. However, others worry that young nurses may not be mature enough to handle the emotional toll of the job. What do you think? Is healthcare ready to embrace more young nurses? #nursing #healthcare #workforce
