Our team's dedication might just be the secret sauce to our success. Here's a peek into the Level Best family's spirit. 🏘️💪 Why Our Team Stands Out: Full Commitment: They're not just employees; they're stakeholders in our journey. Their 100% effort is why we keep up with demands. It's rare, but we've struck gold with a team that's deeply invested in our growth. 📈 Genuine Care: Believe it or not, they often care about Level Best's success even more than their own – a rare find in today's world. 🤝 Local Roots: We, including co-founders Nick and I, are hometown folks. We’ve seen it all, from the struggles business owners face with staffing to the triumph of building a solid team. 🌴 The Right Fit: After several tries, we’ve finally found the perfect match for a crucial role in our company. It’s clear now how invaluable the right people are to our mission. 🗝️ Nick, myself, and the entire Level Best team are proud to serve our community, not just with services but with a business model that values people – both our clients and our crew. #LocalBusiness #TeamLevelBest

Head to the link in the comments for takeaways from the latest Deciens Community Circle – detailing the ins and outs of scaling HR and culture for early-stage companies.
⚡ Here is some quick hit advice for early-stage companies starting to build their people teams... Earlier this year, we launched a program to connect our portfolio companies to the vast resources of our community. This program, the Deciens Community Circle, creates a space for our portfolio company teams to access the wisdom of experienced founders and industry-leading subject matter experts. We recently had Arthur Matuszewski as our guest. It was an awesome session full of knowledge bombs and great advice for early-stage founders. Here are six key takeaways from our session: 1. Hire a human resources or people professional when your team reaches about 50 people. 2. Hire your first recruiter when you’re hiring 12 people per year. 3. Quarterly performance check-ins are more useful than a structured review process. 4. Establish a set of principles early, but create policy documents when they are needed. 5. The most important way to scale culture is to hire and promote aligned decision-makers. 6. Align your cultural strategy with your business strategy for the best effect. Thanks again to Arthur Matuszewski for sharing his expertise and providing these insights. I'm looking forward to many more Community Circles to come! Check out the link for more details behind these key take-aways!
