As for the rest of us, we try to get ahead of what’s coming instead of bracing for impact. That’s what drove our discussions at the ICOM 2024 World Meeting in Madrid. As one of more than 80 independent marketing agencies in the ICOM Network, FARM joined our global partners to explore how agencies can bring greater value to our client partners and our people. We also won third place in ICOM’s annual Bright Business Ideas competition for our successful launch of the employee recognition program, Hey Taco. Last Thursday we participated in the 42nd running of the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge here in Buffalo. If you’re not familiar, a corporate challenge is NOT seeing how much executive jargon and marketing speak you can belt out in 60 seconds. It’s a 3.5-mile race designed to accommodate all runners and walkers, regardless of speed or ability. All proceeds benefited a local nonprofit organization chosen by J.P. Morgan Chase. Since then, the Black community has continued to face inequality as they've worked toward positive change. Today, we’re beginning to see a world that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion. This past Saturday was kind of a big deal. It was installation day for our team that’s working on the 3rd annual UPlift Design Challenge with Upward Design for Life. They only had a few hours to load up their truck, move everything in, and complete all the finishing design touches. Although they had a great time transforming the space, the best part was seeing the family’s reaction to their beautiful new home.
