Resiliency in the PNT domain is critical. A worthwhile conversation is whether the DoD should invest in more alternative PNT solutions or just invest in more M-code capable receivers. Or perhaps an appropriate balance between both. Satellite launches and developing new payloads are big investments.

There are reasons we build kill chains/webs and there are reasons why legacy platforms are still needed. Only the short sighted trust one tool, platform, and capability. Israel has an intense boundary with multiple layers and yet they were still breached. I wonder how installing an automated directed energy laser off of a C2 radar air picture would have changed their scenario with the first wave of the breach.
