Every child, regardless of ability, deserves to experience the wonder of the world around them. That's why at our centre, we're committed to providing holistic support for children like Dani, who has been a cherished part of More Than Support for a year now. Dani's journey with autism reminds us of the importance of tailored care and inclusive environments. For children like Dani, nature isn't just a backdrop, it's a sanctuary. Our outings offer him a chance to explore, engage, and connect with the world in his own unique way. It's in these moments that we see the true power of support and inclusion. But our mission extends beyond just outings. It's about creating a safe and nurturing space where every child feels seen, heard, and valued. Through specialised therapies, compassionate care, and a deep understanding of individual needs, we aim to empower children like Dani to thrive. By fostering an environment of acceptance and understanding, we're not just providing support, we're fostering a sense of belonging. Because every child deserves the opportunity to spread their wings and soar. Together, let's ensure that every child, regardless of ability, has the support they need to reach their full potential 🌟💙 #supportforall #inclusivecare #autismawareness #ndissupport #ndisproviders

Here's what happens to children's services when turning 18: 👉 Children’s services such as Special Services at Home, Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities or services through the Ontario Autism Program end. You must apply to Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) to determine eligibility for adult developmental services. 👉 To reduce the service gap between children and adult services, you should start the application process early and apply at age 16. With all of the correct documents, you can be confirmed eligible for adult developmental services at age 16. However, the services will not start until the age of 18. You can learn more about transitioning from children to adult services on Developmental Services Ontario's website: https://lnkd.in/dkGyqeF4 #HelpingBuildGreatLives #HamOnt #DevelopmentalDisabilities #DiverseAbilities
