What a fabulous event EV Rally 😀 We’ve finished five days in our Everrati Porsche, with daughter Frankie co-driving. The best-looking car by a million miles. Everyone on Team National Grid led by Lorna McAtear brought vehicles not built for this task, to make the challenge harder, and the test of charging infrastructure more meaningful. Our car is more used to doing 15 miles than 1500, but it did not miss a beat and had more range than anticipated. The lovely team mechanics who followed us had almost nothing to do but drink tea. The car exceeded expectations way outside its comfort zone and was a pleasure to drive. I now have a huge amount of editing to do to get the round-up story on the BBC next week.
