I am seeing a therapist and it’s really helping me work through some personal issues. Sharing some reminders in case you need them too. Seeking support is a sign of strength not weakness. It’s resourceful and wise. You are only human with a complicated ego and a vulnerable heart. It’s important to talk about your feelings and fears. You are allowed to make mistakes. You don’t have to be perfect to be amazing. Choosing to dig deep empowers you to grow and prepares you for the road ahead. No matter what, you are always worthy of unconditional love, happiness, and infinite abundance.
I am not sure if Disney attracts people with perfectionist / poor boundary skills or I activated mine while there. I habitually have a lot of balls in the air most of the time. Sometimes some or all of these balls fall to the floor. Feeling like it's ok to ask for help is a skill I am still working on. Thanks for the reminder.
Thank you for your honesty and openness. You know we share so many stories on this journey. To me, therapy is like exercise for the mind
Thank you for sharing Eva. So important. Thinking of you always.
Thank you for sharing this Eva. I have also sought a therapist at different times in my life when I have needed it. I absolutely agree, the ability to ask for help is a strength.
This is so good Eva. Definitely not The Disney Way we were taught way back when! Perfectionism creeps in when you least expect it. It's SUCH a robber. Thank you so so much for posting this xx
Love this Eva Steortz and sharing the same thinking. Thank you for sharing.
Done! Happy Wednesday!!! 😎
Thanks for sharing this, Eva!!
