A fair few people here have first hand experience of just how challenging it is to start your own business, it often takes every last ounce of your strength and resources. Combine that with creating a disruptive food brand that manufacturers in house from the start 🤯💰🤯💰💰🤯😱 We started small making 18 delicious Yorkies at at time. We now make 1000’s a day. So far we have managed this by investing all our savings, barely taking wage, instead using anything we make to re invest in the company. We do have a strategic plan for major expansion for which we will be seaking external investment but for now we have 3 big expenses that have all come in at once but need to happen asap to meet the ever increasing demand. If you could spare a few pounds or share, it will be greatly appreciated. Once we start making a profit we will donate the equivalent of all money raised to animal and climate charities, with a additional commitment to donate 2% of net profit to charity every Christmas. Keep our dreams alive and save our hands! 🌿💚🌿🌍🌿💚 (Or just have a giggle at how rubbish my face looks in the still, I swear Stevie Heath did it on purpose!)

Hard work in fundraising manifests in meticulous planning, crafting persuasive narratives, and utilizing data analytics for donor segmentation. Anglers use a similar blend of preparation and intuition, consulting weather forecasts, water temperature, and fish behavior to increase chances of a successful catch. Weather's impact on fishing equates to external environmental factors that influence fundraising—economic trends, social issues, political climate—all call for adaptability. A curious spirit defines both activities. Experimentation—whether with bait and lures or with fundraising campaigns—yields indispensable learnings. Embrace the challenge, for these moments not only teach invaluable lessons but invigorate our drive. For anglers, the joy often lies in the act of fishing itself, the rhythm of the cast, the anticipation. For fundraisers, fulfillment comes from seeing a community uplifted, educational programs funded, lives transformed. Yet, humility tempers our efforts. As we revel in triumphant moments, sub-optimal outcomes humble us, providing an opportunity to recalibrate and refine strategies. For fishers, changing tactics might mean blending the time-honored art of fly fishing with sonar technology. In fundraising, integrating traditional philanthropic relationships with innovative platforms like crowdfunding represents a similar amalgamation of old and new. So, we continue to cast our lines into waters replete with both calmness and turbulent undercurrents. We navigate these dichotomies, always learning, always adapting. Our journeys in both realms share the intricate balance of art and science, intuition and analysis, and most notably, triumphs and opportunities for growth. Starting off July with #Wins! Thank you ULSTER SAVINGS CHARITABLE FOUNDATION and Ulster Savings Bank Newburgh, Branch manager, Matthew Agor for helping us launch our first Transformation Kitchen™️ in Newburgh with this generous donation of $2k towards our goals. TK represents our most proactive, on-the-ground initiative, for which we are currently fundraising to establish our inaugural site in Newburgh, NY, by the year's end. In an ideal world, we would have the space to accommodate students in need with housing, operate at least one mobile unit to serve food deserts, and possess sufficient fertile land to initiate Gardens Of Hope. This program, adjacent to the kitchen, would educate on composting, gardening, and the importance of cultivating the land. We will teach Culinary, Life, and Power Skills to underserved communities while they help us build a sound community and feed the food insecure. We offer wellness coaching and 1:1's to provide extra assistance to those in need. Every graduate will have a living wage job, a boatload of skills, and a sense of belonging in a community that is safe and accepting. This program is more than a job skills program. It is a solution for the tackling issues head on. No band aids, half-measures, or rhetoric. Genuine solutions to reduce crime, eradicate poverty, nurture community, provide for the food insecure, generate employment, and move beyond past errors to start anew. Help us get to the finish line. Empowering Students to Make a Difference: Our Charitable Fundraiser for the Tsing Yi Pet Adoption Centre As a primary school teacher of Year 6 students, I'm incredibly proud to share an inspiring initiative our class has undertaken. For our Global Perspectives project, the students decided to organize a charitable fundraiser to support the Tsing Yi Pet Adoption Centre in Hong Kong. The students were passionate about using their entrepreneurial skills to make a real-world impact. After researching the Tsing Yi centre and the needs of rescue animals, they set to work planning a student-run drinks stall. Using their math, marketing, and teamwork skills, the class decided to sell refreshing lemonade, soothing lemon tea, and delightful bubble tea to their fellow students during break times. The enthusiasm and dedication the students have shown has been truly heartwarming. They worked collaboratively to determine pricing, create eye-catching signage, and schedule shift rotations to ensure the stall ran smoothly. Most importantly, they understood that the funds raised would make a tangible difference in the lives of rescue animals awaiting adoption. I'm continually amazed by the creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and social consciousness of this next generation. Through initiatives like this charitable fundraiser, students are learning critical skills while also cultivating empathy, problem-solving, and a sense of civic responsibility. As the teacher, it's been a privilege to guide and support these young leaders as they bring their ideas to life. I have no doubt the funds raised will have a meaningful impact on the important work of the Tsing Yi Pet Adoption Centre.
