Today, Alexander Stubb was elected as the new President of Finland. His profound understanding of Nordic energy security and collaboration is unparalleled. This insight was evident when he served as a keynote speaker at the Å Energi conference last year, delivering a comprehensive historical and geopolitical analysis from the stage. In a world marked by more uncertainty and instability than in several decades, increased trade, exchange and cooperation are important key words to get through the crisis. Stubb's recognition of the centrality of the energy transition resonates deeply with us. As a prime example, take smart and our decision with a worldwide effect: We transitioned the company to all-electric vehicles five years ago, embracing a sustainable future. The upcoming vote on the new energy act in Switzerland is an important step which supports our vision. The necessary transformation requires the backing of society, politics, engineers, and innovators. Together, we can achieve quieter, cleaner streets powered by sustainable electricity, reducing our dependence on fossil fuels from unstable sources.
