Less than half the fines levied against rogue landlords have been collected by local authorities. According to data between 2021 and 2023 £13m worth of civil penalties were issued by councils. However, just £6 million has so far been collected. Local authorities can issue civil penalties of up to £30,000 for a range of offences committed by rogue landlords. These can be used to fund further enforcement activity. Source - National Residential Landlords Association. #Propertymarket #rentalproperty #landlord #maketinsights #marketstats

Sign the Petition: The most despicable criminals should never walk free in the UK & South Africa. Whole life orders mandatory for the most serious types of murder, violent farm and home invasions, kidnapping, looting, politicians stealing public funds, destruction of public infrastructure, and all rape. Expand the lists of murder types and all rape to which these types of sentences apply and other above crimes. Judges must impose the maximum sentence to the above crimes. The MPs/MPLs must bring to Parliament, The Executive, and for the Judiciary and an amendment to the South African Constitution similar to recent Government work in the UK. https://chng.it/kTQNNTGXFS

"JUSTICE DELAYED IS JUSTICE DENIED" Fredrick Nwajagu, the Ezeigbo of Ajao Estate, Lagos, was arrested almost one year ago in Lagos, for, allegedly, threatening to bring the IPOB members to Lagos, to protect their shops and property in Lagos. What has happened to his case? From the look of things, it appears the matter is not being prosecuted as it should. For a whole one year, chief Nwajagu is neither convicted nor discharged. Does it mean that the government wants chief Nwajagu to continue to languish in jail without trial? Inasmuch as we do not support violence, we had expected the government to live above board by, diligently, prosecuting the case or release chief Nwajagu, if they could not find any ground to try him. I remember vividly, prelude to the 2015 election, the Oba of Lagos threatened that anybody that did not vote for APC in Lagos state, will be thrown into the lagoon. Nobody arrested him. Nobody questioned him. In 2011, while campaigning for his election, Gen. Mohammed Buhari threatened that if he was not declared winner, baboons and monkeys will be soaked in blood. Where were the police and the DSS then? Or Buhari is an untouchable? From time to time, Asari Dokubo had always brandished dangerous weapons, threatening to wipe out the Igbos, should this or that happen. Nobody has ever arrested him. A northern cleric sheik Gumi had always threatened that Nigeria will break, should the bandits be attacked. Does it mean that the government does not know where he is? Why have the DSS and the police not arrested him? Just recently, Sanusi Abubakar called for the killing of the Nigerian first lady, Pastor Remi Tinubu, for being a Christian. What did the government do? Or they did not hear it? Or is it not an inciting statement? Why is the law always different when it has to do with the Igbos? This is one of the reasons why they always insist that they are being marginalized. I mean it is very glaring: you treat them with so much hostility on the same or similar offence? No! No race will condone it for too long. Nwajagu's case is a typical example. From so many instances of threats here and there, from the Nigerian citizens, as enumerated above, nobody has ever been arrested except Nwajagu. Not only was he arrested, he has been abandoned to rot in jail. Why is he so abandoned? Where are the Igbos? Where is the Ohaneze ndi Igbo? Where is the Igbo community in Lagos, for whose protection he threatened to bring IPOB? Where is the obedient movement, whose maltreatment triggered Nwajagu's reaction? Where is Peter Obi, whose votes in Lagos angered those who started manhandling the obedients and the Igbos? You cannot abandon your own. An injustice to one, is an injustice to all. You people should rise up and fight for the release of this man, since it is very clear that the government is not willing to prosecute him, but to allow him to rot in prison, for justice delayed, is justice denied. @everyone, @follower,@friends
