The Croatian Dalmatian Coast is currently experiencing several wildfires, as seen by #MTGI1's FCI instrument here. The fires and resulting smoke are visible from #space between 08:40 - 16:50 UTC on 31 July, particularly in the Makarska region (centre). 🔥🛰️ Please note: MTG-I1's FCI imagery has been declared pre-operational after preliminary validation, however, this data is still undergoing testing and is not for operational use at this time.
