👋 Welcome 🇭🇺 Hungary @HU24EU, which has just taken over the Council presidency. It's going to be an exciting six months! The presidency of the Council rotates between EU member states every six months. During this period, the presidency chairs meetings at every level in the Council, helping to steer the EU agenda. What a shame for the EU, that such a country/leader/political system, which is against the entire concept of the EU and all it stands for, could take up leadership of the Council of Europe. Sad day.

Feeling secondary shame for being Hungarian. My only excuse is that I have left that extremely hypocritical country for good.
We can't feel much excited about this when you know who runs Hungarian policies at the moment.
Oh no. Dreading this. 😪 Whither the Union these next 6 months...
Oui, tout est encore possible et perfectible, parce que nous savons comment éloigner encore un instant les dangers constitués par ceux qui nous menacent de tous côtés. https://www.editions-pantheon.fr/catalogue/bougez-vous/#bougezvous
Not exciting. It will be a train smash. Authoritarian anti-EU Presidency of the EU? What could go wrong? Indeed, what little could possibly go right? This 6 months will be nothing short of the most calamitous Presidency of the EU ever.
I am exited to take them to prison, Orban, Szijjarto, all moustaches
Shame! The many sanctions are useless if you still give them this presidency term.

3w‘exciting’? please, they should’ve never been allowed to take over. There should really be mechanisms in place that would keep elements who wish to destroy the block, from taking over leadership positions in the very same block that they seek to undermine. This makes no sense and it’s anti democratic in essence.
